Ryan Scott SS / RHP / Hillsboro, OH / 2021

Scouting Notes: Very interesting arm still left on the board in Ohio’s 2021 class. 5-foot-11, 140-pound athletic frame that could make substantial physical additions when in a college weight program. Already can run it up to 86mph and with his clean arm/efficient delivery any added strength should translate to velocity. A guy who could throw much harder down the road.
Fastball:
82-85mph, heavy pitch, late lift.
Breaking Ball:
Sharp/firm, 11/5 shape, 70-72mph.
Changeup:
Impressive offering that had good sell with later sink to it at 78-79mph.
Game Notes:
Legit three-pitch righty. Maintains hand speed on secondary offerings. Stuff translates to the next level and the ceiling is very high with added physical development.

Brad Miller RHP / Hillsboro, OH / 2021

Scouting Notes: West Virginia Wesleyan commit. Obvious projectability here. Long, lanky prospect that challenges hitters with the fastball that was up to 85mph. All signs point to more velo down the road.
Fastball:
82-85mph, pitch works downhill making it a tough offering it get on a plane with/elevate.
Changeup:
Pairs well with heater, decent sell with late fading action. 75-76mph.
Game Notes:
Excellent mound presence with the ability to fill up the zone. Good get for WVWC.

Garrett Taulbee RHP / 1B / Felicity-Franklin, OH / 2022

Scouting Notes: Physical presence on the mound.Strong armed-2022 with above average arm speed. Arm is clean/should add more mphs down the road. The ability to throw strikes/spin it combined with lower effort delivery could profile him at multiple roles on a college staff.
Fastball:
Heavy pitch with occasional arm side action at 80-83mph. More to come.
Breaking Ball:
68-70mph, sharp down action. Well above average pitch.
Game Notes:
Second impressive outing we’ve seen from in the past two weeks. Firm fastball with a sharp, downer breaking ball. High follow.

Collin Belcuore C / SS / Anderson, OH / 2021

Hit: Lefty bat with a compact, whippy stroke with above average natural tools. Ball jumps when squared. Good athlete with physical hands through the zone.
Power:
Easy gap abilities.
Offensive Projection:
Run producer ceiling.
Field:
A talented, versatile defender that you can move around the yard. Stood out behind the dish where the athleticism shows, he has a willingness to block and is a more than capable receiver.
Throw:
Confident thrower. Showed an accurate, strong arm where he tossed out a few runners.
Defensive Projection:
UTL.
Game Notes:
Stood out on both sides of the ball. Accounted for a plethora of the Red Team’s runs, highlighted by his bases clearing shot into the LCF gap.

Riley Osterbur SS / 2B / Conner, KY / 2021

Hit: Open stance from the right side. Smooth, athletic load that leads to a mostly balanced launch. Path is uphill with a balanced combination of strength and speed to stroke. Worked gap to gap. Athletic dude with tools to work with.
Power:
Line drive pop with flashes of gap abilities.
Offensive Projection:
Multiple Roles.
Field:
Talented defender who has the athleticism, instincts, and arm to play multiple positions.
Throw:
Clean arm that should add easy velocity down the road.
Defensive Projection:
UTL.
Game Notes:
The most impactful, in-game defender of the day. Made play after play over at shortstop, including a few that were highlight reel quality.
