We would like to thank all who participated in PBR Ohio's 2019 Scout Day: Cincinnati Baseball Club. This was a great opportunity for the class of 2020-2022 prospects to be put on college radars. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase.

2019 Scout Day: Cincinnati Baseball Club - Sneak Peek
The Position Players
|
Parker Allen SS / 2B / Moeller, OH / 2020
Body Type: 6-foot 170-pound prospect with an average but athletic frame. Swing Mechanics: Uses a hip hinge with his front hip to initiate his load. Slightly drops his back shoulder during swing. Showed strong hands and a flat bat path. Hit: Good bat to ball ability with strong hands and a line drive approach to the pull side. Power: 92 mph exit velocity. Offensive Projection: His swing profiles him as a gap to gap kind of guy but if his bat path become more on plane to create some natural lift he could develop into more of a power threat as he develops. Run: 4.35 home to 1st. Throw: 82 mph across the diamond. Field: In the infield he showed athletic movements and a quick arm. Average footwork and angles to the ball with good hands. Defensive Projection: Looks the part of a good high school shortstop. To stay at SS at the next level raw arm strength would need to improve but shows the athleticism to transition to 2B if needed.
