With the 2019 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting in January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2019 Spring Team Preview: Alliance Aviators

Team Name: Alliance Aviators
Head Coach: Jeff Graffice
Division: II
2018 Record: 19-10
Conference Record: EBC, 9-5 (3rd)
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 4/2

2019 Team Strengths:

  • Work Ethic

Coach Outlook: "We need to be able to hit the ball better and drive runners in when we get the chance and we should have a pretty solid year.  I look at us being in the top 3rd of the EBC and in contention at the end of the season if we can stay healthy."

PBR Outlook: The Aviators and coach Jeff Grattice have a nice mix of upper and lower classmen in 2019. After winning 19 games in 2018, look for Alliance to be in the mix for an EBC title and tourney run.
