State Semifinal Notes

Division I Semifinal- #1 Massillon Jackson def. #12 Lakota West, 5-1

The Arms

• Kyle Nicolas, RHP, Massillon Jackson, 2017 (Ball State commit)
  
  • Game Report: A 6-foot-3, 180-pound athlete. Projectable frame with room to fill out. Easy, little to no effort delivery. Throws from a long, no effort, high-3/4 arm action with the fastball exploding out of his had in the low-90s, touching 94 mph in the 1st inning. Throws two different breaking balls. His curveball has bigger 12/6 action at 72-74 mph. Also features a slider at 77-81 mph with good sharp movement. Has really good arm speed on his changeup at 80-82 mph with good life and sink to it. Outstanding arm talent.
