With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2018 Spring Team Preview: Colerain Cardinals
Team Name: Colerain Cardinals
Head Coach: Justin Yeary
Division: I
2017 Record: 16-10
Conference Record: Greater Miami Conference, 13-5, 3rd
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 3/2
Team Strengths:
- Speed
Coach Outlook: “This year there will be a lot of unknowns. We have some very good senior leaders, but we also have a lot of guys that have little to no varsity experience. We graduated 15 seniors from a year ago, so there will be a lot of questions to be answered on who will step and fill in significant roles.”
PBR Outlook: The Colerain Cardinals and coach Yeary compete in the difficult Greater Miami Conference, and in 2018 look to a group that graduated 15 seniors from the prior year to be competitive in all games with hopes of playing their best ball come tournament time.
