With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2018 Spring Team Preview: Columbiana Crestview Rebels

Conference Record: ITCL, 6-2, 2nd

Coach Outlook: “The team looks to build on its 2017 District Championship. This year the Rebels will not be in the ITCL, and are currently in the OVAC. Several position players returning, but have to replace some key pitchers.”

PBR Outlook: The Rebels and coach Kry Whitacre are headed to the OVAC in 2018, as they are leaving the ITCL. The Rebels have five returning starters off a 16-win season, and will look to top that in 2018.
