With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2018 Spring Team Preview: Geneva Eagles

Conference Record: Chagrin Valley Conference, 11-3, 2nd

Coach Outlook: "We will be bringing back the vast majority of our starting lineup and pitching staff that won 17 games in 2017. As long as we are able to stay healthy, and have a few new faces contribute in some way, we should have the makings for a very strong season. Our pitching and defense will lead us through the season, if we are able to score runs on a consistent basis, we will be set for a successful season.”

PBR Outlook: With experience, pitching and leadership back for the Eagles, coach Sziber has Geneva ready to soar in 2018. Look for the Eagles to play well all season with a chance to make a run come tournament time.
