With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2018 Spring Team Preview: Hicksville Aces

Team Name: Hicksville Aces
Head Coach: Tim Shock

Team Strengths:

Coach Outlook: “We have the potential to be really good this year, but it will all depend on attitudes and how hard the kids want to work. We have a ton of versatility, so guys are going to move around position wise during the regular season until we find our starting nine.”

PBR Outlook: The Aces have had a very successful athletic school year (long run in football and basketball) and look to continue things on the baseball diamond. Look for Jake Greer and Parker Thiel to lead the way, but the Aces have a nice mix of upper and lower classmen that should be able to step up and fill their roles well.
