With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2018 Spring Team Preview: Lake Ridge Academy Royals
Team Name: Lake Ridge Academy Royals

Division: IV
2017 Record: 21-6
Conference Record: Lake Effect Conference, 10-0 - 1st Place
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 12/10

Coach Outlook: We are a state title contender in D-IV. We are bringing everybody back after setting the school record for wins, bringing home its first baseball conference title, and first time in the state rankings in school history. Expectations are at the highest level in program history and we should be one of the best teams in Lorain County across all the divisions. Last year we spent 3 of the 5 poll weeks in the top 20, finished final poll ranked #10 in the state.
PBR Outlook: A team to watch in 2018 are the Lake Ridge Academy Royals and head coach Jason Dimacchia. After setting many school records last year during their 21-win season, the Royals return everyone with hopes at a run toward Huntington Park.
