With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2018 Spring Team Preview: Minster Wildcats
Team Name: Minster Wildcats
Head Coach: Mike Wiss
Division: IV
2017 Record: 25-7
Conference Record: 6-3 Midwest Athletic Conference - 2nd
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 5/3
2018 Team Strengths:

Coach Outlook: "Minster now has 45 players in program. Gotta find the right mix. The difference between “Interested or Committed” will become important as we go forward. Getting quality starts on the mound will be very important with some new young arms throwing for us. Getting our bats started early in the season and allowing us to play with the lead is so very important in today’s game."
PBR Outlook: Coach Mike Wiss is looking to continue his magic this spring (state championship in 2017 / coach of girls basketball team which one this past winter). The Wildcats will be challenged in the always difficult MAC, which will get them ready for what they hope is another long tournament run.
