With the 2019 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting in January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2019 Team Strengths:

  • Nucleus of Young Players

Coach Outlook: "Rebuilding year for us. Replacing 7 graduated seniors...all of whom started at some point."

PBR Outlook: The Devils and coach Ron Meade will look to the youth in 2019 as they need to replace seven seniors.

  • Elijah Young-SS/P/C-Sr.-2-year starter-.333 avg., 12 RBI, 25 runs, 10/10 SB, .506 OBP
  • Dalton Gardner-Jr.-OF/P-.351 avg, 16 RBI, 23 runs, 27/29 SB, .425 OBP
