With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2018 Spring Team Preview: Summit Country Day Silver Knights
Team Name: Summit Country Day Silver Knights
Head Coach: Triffon Callos
Division: II
2017 Record: 17-12
Conference Record: 9-4, 3rd
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 7/3
Team Strengths:
- Defense & Catching Depth

Coach Outlook: “We return 7/9 starters. I expect this will be one of the stronger offensive teams with a mix of speed & power. I like our team depth offensively. We should be very strong defensively with a group of athletes who can play multiple positions. We should especially be strong behind the plate. We lost our top 2 arms and will need guys to mature and gain confidence challenging hitters. We have a few new additions to the program that will help at the plate, in the field, and on the mound.”
PBR Outlook: The Silver Knights and head coach Triffon Callos look to new challenges in division II and look to do so with a talented team.
