Nick Eltzroth is a 6-foot-2, 180-pound right-handed pitcher and infield prospect with a thick, solid build. He uses a high ¾ arm slot and good arm speed to generate an 81-82 mph fastball. He showed a sharp 73 mph slider as his go-to off-speed pitch. From shortstop, he registered 73 mph velocity across the infield. At the next level, he may project best at third base, but shows good lateral movement and plays through the ball well. At the plate, the right-handed hitter uses a smooth load, short stride to generate gap-to-gap power. He ran a 7.45 60-yard dash.
