Clay Lockett, SS, Putnam City North HS (2017)

A Barton County recruit, 5-foot-11, 160-pound athletic build. Offensively, right-handed hitter, all fields approach. A relaxed, upright stance, slight squat during load, moderate stride, short to contact, flat plane through finish. Ran a 4.68 down the line. Defensively, athletic actions at shortstop, an above average arm (80 mph), and soft hands. On the day, Lockett had a single, walk, and played good defense.

Eric Mayes, OF, Putnam City North HS (2017)
An Oklahoma Wesleylan recruit, 6-foot, 165-pound build with some length. Offensively, right-handed hitter, middle-pull approach. Athletic , upright set-up, loose hands, shows good hand eye. Ran a 4.52 home-to-first. Defensively, takes good routes in centerfield. Had a base hit, RBI, and reached on an error in the games.

OK Sluggers
Jordan Compton, SS/RHP, Carl Albert HS (2018)

A 5-foot-11, 170-pound lean build. Offensively, switch hitter, more consistent from the right, middle of the field approach, bat speed, some pop to the pull gap. Back leg heavy set-up, some rhythm in the hands, small stride, slightly uphill path produces backspin. Defensively, quick, accurate arm, average hands, flashes improved footwork. On the mound, smooth delivery, average effort, short arm circle, 3/4 slot. Fastball sits 82-84 and can touch 85 mph, late arm-side run with sink. Curveball has 11/5, good depth, 70-71 mph. Compton recorded three hits, a walk, and two RBI’s.

Kaden Kirby, RHP, Oklahoma Christian Academy 
A 6-foot-1, 165-pound slender build, long legs. A smooth, up-tempo delivery, high leg kick, fluid arm circle, fast arm out front, 3/4 slot. Fastball flashes arm-side run at 79-82 mph, has touched 85 mph. Slider shows depth at times, 67-72 mph. Changeup is thrown with fastball arm speed with fade, 72-74 mph. Threw competitive innings in the game working out of jams.

Brock Schreiner, SS/OF, Choctaw HS
A 6-foot, 160-pound athletic, wiry strong frame. An advanced runner,6.69 60, 4.54 on the turn to second. Defensively, excellent lateral movement, quick hands, developing arm strength. Cover a ton of ground in the outfield, makes good reads, body control shows on diving catches.  Offensively, right-handed hitter, middle-pull approach, quick hands. Balanced wide stance, short stride, short to the ball, flat path to contact, has a knack for finding barrels. Schreiner had four singles up the middle and four RBI’s, and three stolen bases on the day.

Brooks Red, 1B, Arapaho Butler HS (2018)
A 6-foot-3, 220-pound thick frame. Offensively, right-handed hitter, all fields approach, some strength. A wide, back leg heavy set-up with rhythm, reverse toe-tap load, short to the ball, excellent extension. Brooks had two triples, a double, and a single on the day.

Brett Rexroad, RHP, Mustang HS (2017)

A 6-foot-4, 180-pound long, lean, frame. Works from an easy, fluid delivery, over the top slot, threw strikes. Fastball sits 78-82 mph, some downhill action. Curveball has 12/6 shape, 65-70 mph. Rexroad threw a couple of clean innings on the mound.

Charley Wirtz, LHP, Perry HS (2018)
A 6-foot, 140-pound frame with room to add size and strength. Works from a smooth delivery with some rhythm, loose arm action, low-3/4 slot. Fastball sits 79-81, heavy arm-side run, strikes. Breaking ball has slurve action, 66-67 mph. Changeup shows some fade at 70 mph. Wirtz had four punch outs on the day.
