Week of 10/5

Mark McCauslin 3B / SS / Northern HS, PA / 2029

The athletic 6-foot, 178-pound INF prospect presents a lean, well-proportioned frame, pairing a 97.5 mph max exit velocity with 77 mph infield velocity. At the plate, he works from a narrow setup with high, rhythmic hands, while defensively he stays down through the baseball with sure hands and a strong arm across the diamond.

Ethan Stern 2B / OF / The Haverford School, PA / 2028

The physical 5-foot-7, 172-pound 2B/OF prospect possesses a compact, versatile build and a strong blend of athleticism and offensive ability, pairing a 101.3 mph max exit velocity with 76.5 mph max bat speed. His flexibility as a defender stands out, showing the ability to handle both the infield and outfield while posting 78 mph infield velocity and 79 mph outfield velocity. The combination of defensive versatility, athleticism, and present offensive impact gives him valuable utility across multiple positions.

Nicholas DAmico OF / 1B / Mount Olive, NJ / 2028

Nicholas made a strong first impression at the NY Summer ID in Cortland, standing out immediately to both the NY and NJ staff. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound left-handed hitting outfielder brings a physical frame with raw power, straight‑line speed, and a lively arm that all point toward long‑term upside. Offensively, he turned in one of the louder rounds of the event. His left-handed swing works from a wide base with a controlled leg lift that transfers energy efficiently, producing 102.9 mph max EV and a 97.3 mph average EV. He creates damage out front with a loose, flowing stroke that carries natural leverage. Defensively, Nicholas shows the early traits of a long-term outfielder. His 7.13 sixty and 87 mph arm strength give him the foundational athleticism and carry needed to stay in the grass as he continues to mature.

James Gaven RHP / OF / Delbarton, NJ / 2028

Lean, twitchy athlete that indicates future growth in his 5-foot-9, 160-pound frame. The right-handed pitcher has displayed developing arm strength over the course of the last year and continues to trend in the positive direction as a well-rounded pitcher. Gaven’s fastball has been up to 86 mph and sat 82-85 mph. His secondary pitches include a tight, short breaking cutter at 72-75 mph and a late, arm side fading changeup at 73-75 mph. His 3 pitch arsenal is able to create a difficult look for hitters utilizing pitches that move to both sides of the plate. His athleticism on the mound and frame with room for lean muscle are key indicators for future velocity growth.

Anderson Levake RHP / SS / Robert C Byrd High School, WV / 2028

Right-handed pitcher who has added physicality to his frame and velocity to his pitch mix. The 6-foot, 165-pound prospect made an impactful appearance at the WV Top Prospect Games where he displayed a 3 mph increase on his fastball since the preseason. He works out of the windup utilizing a full reach back arm swing where he is able to create hand speed at release. His fastball sat 82-84 mph and topped at 85.3 mph displaying arm side run. Levake mixed in a 74-75 mph curveball and tight cutter at 77-80 mph. He flashed command and pitchability with all 3 pitches, Levake will be a Northeast arm with starter traits to watch as he continues to develop physically.

Cassius Hudson OF / LHP / Windsor ny, NY / 2030

Intriguing, projectable 5-10, 150 lb OF/LHP. Collected multiple hits over the weekend, including 2 triples. Athletic profile with an 82 MPH OF arm & 90.4 EV. FB T79.7 with standout ride; multiple BB shapes add depth. Plenty of upside as the frame matures.

Braeden McCarty 3B / 1B / Putnam Valley High School, NY / 2028

Physical LHH corner INF put together an impressive showing at the Fall Classic. Mature approach with advanced feel for the barrel, consistently producing quality ABs while flashing present middle-of-the-order power.

William Ryan RHP / OF / Fairfield College Preparatory, CT / 2028

The strong, physical 5-foot-11, 185-pound right-hander, ranked No. 23 overall and the No. 8 right-handed pitcher in New England's 2028 class, brought legitimate arm strength and a power-pitcher look to the mound at the Future Games. Working from a high leg lift with an explosive lower half, his fastball sat 87–90 mph and touched 91.8 mph, spinning up to 2182 rpm with as much as 18.4" of IVB and 14.7" of arm-side run, giving the pitch real carry through the top of the zone. He paired it with a 75–79 mph slider featuring a tight, gyro-style shape (2.9" IVB, -3.6" HB), and a 74–77 mph changeup that averaged just 7.4" of IVB while fading up to 16" to his arm side, creating strong separation off the fastball. With a strong, mature build, an aggressive, athletic delivery, and a three-pitch mix that already played on one of the summer's biggest stages, Ryan profiles as one of the top arms in the region's 2028 class and a right-hander who should draw increasing attention as the velocity continues to climb.

Charlie Crabbe RHP / 3B / Belmont Hill School, MA / 2028

The athletic, strong-bodied 5-foot-10, 187-pound right-hander, ranked No. 30 overall and the No. 10 right-handed pitcher in New England's 2028 class, brought a compact, aggressive look to the mound at the Future Games, working with an explosive lower half and generating good extension down the mound. His fastball sat 84–86 mph and touched 86.8 mph, spinning up to 2234 rpm with as much as 16.2" of IVB and 18.9" of arm-side run, giving the pitch heavy, late life to his arm side. He paired it with a firm 78–81 mph cutter that spun up to 2221 rpm with a flat, tight shape (-0.5" IVB, -2.4" HB), working in the opposite direction of the fastball, and a 79–81 mph changeup that came in at just 1458 rpm on average, giving him a third look off the same tunnel. With a two-way athletic profile, a fastball with real arm-side life, and a cutter that already gives hitters a hard, late-breaking pitch to contend with, Crabbe profiles as an intriguing right-handed arm in the region's 2028 class whose stuff should continue to tick up as he adds strength.
