The Fall College Prospect Program picked up again today after a week layoff for the Labor Day holiday. Prospects from Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland and Canada showcased their talents at Misericordia University with pitchers controlling much of the action.
The Gold team was led by two hits apiece from Ted Williams, Collin Liberatore and Zach Moll. Liberatore also turned in the defensive play of the game with a fantastic backhanded stop and solid throw from behind the third base bag for an out.
The Grey team received two hits from Josh Pittman, Nick Lorenz and Thomas Aruta, as well as doubles from Zach Guth and Jack Baer.
RHP John Fisher (Plymouth-Whitemarsh HS, Class of 2015) impressed on the mound sitting 83-84 out of a high 3/4 arm slot while touching 85 several times. Fisher also commanded a sharp breaking 11/5 curveball at 72 mph. He worked three scoreless innings yielding just one hit.
Following are complete statistics of today's action.
