Prep Baseball Report Scouting Schedule
March 10, 2013

Spring tends to arrive at different times for high school baseball players located in various sections of the state. Northwestern PA is often the last to see the snow thaw and the grass on baseball fields appear. Luckily parts of Pennsylvania have a significantly different weather pattern and high school baseball is often a reality much earlier.
Prep Baseball Report Pennsylvania has set its early season scouting schedule which has a heavy independent school flavor to start the year. With PIAA schools required to wait until March 22 to begin official games the first week of the schedule will involve independent schools in the Philadelphia region.
Friday March 22 will kick off the PIAA schedule with a triple header of action involving a host of ranked prospects that promises to be a great day of high school baseball.

LHP Zach Wielgus, ranked No. 7 in PA Class of 2015 could be on the hill.
