Top Performer Spotlight: 2021 3B/RHP Trystan Crawford (Central Columbia)

Dan Cevette
President, Pennsylvania

It was a historic preseason here in Pennsylvania with our boots-on-the-ground scouting staff covering 700+ players at showcase events, all February long. The dust has settled and we are now ramping up our efforts in player rankings, scouting reports, and recap articles. While the outcome of the 2020 HS season is on hold, the Prep Baseball Report (PA) will continue to provide unrivaled coverage for the amateur baseball players in the Keystone State.

Trystan Crawford 3B / RHP / Central Columbia, PA / 2022

Tale of the Numbers:

Exit Velo - 100
60 Yard - 7.06
Arm Strength - 85
FB Velo - 83

Cevette's Quick Hits: Crawford is well built standing 5-foot-10, 210-pounds with a dynamic lower half. Clear signs of athleticism evidenced by his 7.06 60 yard dash. During BP he was impressive. Very direct path to the ball, barrel is flat through contact, lighting fast hands with the ability to hit for power to all fields.  Defensively, he's well positioned with his glove and arm to stay at one of the corner spots/ or OF in the future. On the mound his tempo was consistent, arm-swing was short with extension out in front, FB peaked at 83 with more in the tank. Exciting PA prospect to keep eyes on this summer.
