Limited slate of action over the weekend, with weather wreaking havoc on the early part of the season, especially in the eastern part of the state. Most games were played out of state.

- The Firebirds emerged victorious in a battle between the AAA preseason favorites from District I and District XII down in Myrtle Beach, SC. Seniors Curtis Staropoli and Tim Brennan combined to hold down the Vikings offense.
