Ohio Insider: 2018 Northern Ohio Unsigned Senior Games - Sneak Peek

The Arms

Ross Hartman RHP / 1B / Rocky River, OH / 2019

Report: Talented pitching prospect in the 2019 class. The right-hander has athletic actions on the bump to his lower effort delivery. Arm works through a high-¾ slot with above average arm speed. Arsenal is led by his running fastball that will also show regular sink. Filled up the zone with the pitch that came in at 83-84 mph. Combination of velo and movement allow him to generate consistent swing/miss or weak contact in the zone. Go to secondary offering is the slider. Can throw the pitch for a strike or bury it to get hitters to chase with two strikes. Starter type that should be a high follow for college coaches. Dominated in his outing.
