2018 Top Prospect Games - Quick Hits

Chris Kemlo
PBR Ontario Director of Scouting

We would like to thank all who participated in PBR Ontario's 2018 Top Prospect Games. This was a great opportunity for 2019-2021 prospects to be identified before season, create and update their profiles, as well see where they stack up with their peers. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase and below we have the complete statistical results from the event as well as the top performers across various different categories.

In the coming weeks, we will be adding and updating profiles for each of the players in attendance, including complete analysis and video.

THE BATS

Ethan Sanasie-Edwards OF / OF / Cardinal L'ger, ON / 2019

Report: Edwards, a 6-foot-2, 170-pound left-handed hitting outfielder was easily one of the standouts on the day. One of the top performers in every aspect of the event, he ran a 6.80 in the sixty to start off, was 88 mph from the outfield and put together an impressive BP along with great at-bats in game while also adding a double to his box score. Not much movement at the plate, the stroke is smooth and easy while he gets good extension in his finish and works gap to gap. Not much swing and miss to game, Edwards is a good looking hitter from the left side who should garner attention from college coaches looking for an athletic LHH outfielder.
