We would like to thank all who participated in the PBR Michigan 2019 Scout Day: Total Baseball. This was a great opportunity for the class of 2019-2022 prospects to be put on college radars. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. Below we have the complete statistical results from the event as well as the top performers across various different categories.

In the coming weeks, we will be adding and updating profiles for each of the players in attendance, including complete analysis and video.

2019 Scout Day: Total Baseball - Sneak Peek

Owen Schloegl RHP / OF / St. Francis De Sales, OH / 2020

Body Type: 5-foot-11, 170 pound
Mechanical/Delivery Notes: Clean repeatable actions throwing from a high ¾ arm angle.
Fastball: Fastball sat in the 75-77 mph range. Showed some sink and fade to the arm side.
Curve: 11/5 shape on the breaking ball with a progressive break sitting 65-66 mph.
Change up: Thrown with the same arm speed as his fastball stayed low in the zone. 68-70 mph.
Pitchability: Fastball was in the strike zone, showed an understanding of how to locate and mix pitches. Three pitch mix that will make him a tough out in HS.
Future Role: Has room to add velocity and a tighter spin to the breaking ball. Has an understanding on how to work on the mound. As he continues to develop can garner some college attention during the spring.
