*Brock Hale - BYU Outfielder*

The Cougars of BYU and Brock Hale had a strong 2017 led by Hale at the plate. As we enter into the 4th and final part of the swing (Extension), we felt that Hale was as good as any to point out the important characteristics.

Almost every tip of the week has included one common word: consistency. The Extension move is no different. The great hitters like Hale, consistently have the cap of their bat pointed towards the pitcher - swing in and swing out. Every swing should mimic the other and through repetition it will become second nature.

If you feel like the cap of your bat is touching the center fielder, you are doing the move correctly! To learn and see more on this move, watch Chris Burke's Tip of the Week below: Swinging 101: Extension. Join eCoachBaseball to learn more!
