Class of 2023 Player Rankings (September)

The spring/summer have proved valuable for many 2023 prospects, with a handful of names coming off the board to some of the top programs around the nation. Throughout the year we have traveled across the region to showcases and games.

That being said, we have had the pleasure of seeing a number of solid players this past year. Prospects are popping up left and right, making velocity jumps, improving 60-yard dash times and showing more power with the bat.

Below we will take a look at "The Top Ten" and some of the top uncommitted prospects by position.

The Top Ten

Blake Grimmer SS / RHP / Spring Lake, MI / 2023

Report: 6-foot-1, 160 pound two way prospect recently committed to Tennessee. At the plate has a fluid swing from the left side. Ball jumps off his bat with power. Ball has a different sound off his barrel. Still very young but has a polished approach. In the field has advanced technique at the shortstop position. Soft hands and a strong arm. Has also been up to 83 mph with a sweeping curve.

Jarren Purify 3B / SS / Liggett, MI / 2023

Report: 5-foot-8, 140 pound athletic prospect is capable of playing all over the diamond. Has some of the fastest hands in the class and big time bat speed. Has a knack for the barrel, produces line drives with a gap to gap approach. One of the younger players in the class with a high skill set. He should make an impact at the varsity level from day one.
