With the recent release of our Updated Class of 2021 State Rankings, our scouting staff took a deeper dive into the prospects in the 2020 class. By position, we will comb through the list, highlighting some of the top talent in each class, and today we begin with catchers.

The recently updated rankings features a total of 14 catchers, with two of the 14 currently committed to play in college, including all six ranked in the top 55.

Tulane recruit, Baylor Cobb (Franklin Parish HS, LA) is the top rated backstop in Louisiana's 2021 class. The physical left-handed hitter checks in at No. 12 overall while also sneaking into the national rankings at No. 498 in the country.
