With the Summer season coming to an end and the 2015-2016 high school sports season as well as fall ball getting underway, we would like to take a look at some of the top uncommitted prospects at each position.

Today we are going to take a look at the top uncommitted 2016 power potential prospects in the state. We will look to create a few top uncommitted lists each week, as you can see by our 2016 Rankings, 2017 Rankings and 2018 Rankings there are numerous talented prospects available.

Top Uncommitted 2016 Power Potential Prospects

Avery Maurer, C, St. John’s HS, 2016
Ranking: 52nd in Michigan’s 2016 Class
Scouting Report: 6-foot, 210-pound prospect. Open stance. Strong kid with explosive bat speed at 94 mph. Shows power to the pull side with good carry. Big target behind the plate. Receives well. Feet need to continue to get quicker. Best pop time recorded was 2.02.
Power Potential: Maurer is a country strong kid already, and shows excellent bat speed for his size. This combination should lead to quality power numbers at the next level.
