We would like to thank all who participated in PBR Ohio's 2016 Underclass Games I Showcase as well as the Underclass Games II Showcase. This was a great opportunity for 2018, 2019, and 2020 prospects to be put on college radars. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. Below we have the complete statistical results from the event as well as the top performers across various different categories.

THE ARMS

Tommy Belser, RHP, Bellefontaine, 2018
Scouting Report: Has a strong, projectable build at 6-foot-3, 195-pounds. Was the top performer on the mound of the event. Could get more use out of his lower half but has a fast, loose arm with feel for all three of his pitches. Fastball ranged from 79-83 mph but was consistently 82-83 mph. He was able to work the pitch to both sides of the plate, while remaining down in the zone. His power curveball was the best breaker we saw all day with sharp, late action at 73-75 mph. Has advanced feel for the pitch with the ability to freeze hitters early in the count and get them to chase late. Also threw an impressive changeup that had run and sink.
