MANDEVILLE, LA - It was opening day for high school baseball in Louisiana on Monday and the Prep Baseball Report Louisiana scouting staff kicked off its spring baseball coverage by catching two separate matchups in southeast Louisiana.

Traveling to Hammond, LA, on the campus of Southeastern Louisiana University, first on Monday, our scouting staff caught the 4:00 PM matchup between Denham Springs HS and Hahnville HS, in which the Denham Springs Yellow Jackets would claim a 2-1 win in extra innings. We then headed to Zachary high school for the 6:30 PM matchup that saw the Broncos host the Holy Cross Tigers. The Broncos were dominant on Monday, claiming a 10-0 win, in which 2020 RHP Tanner Hall (Denham Springs HS, LA) would toss a no-hitter, facing only the minimum.
