We would like to thank all who participated in The PBR New England 2022 Future 50 - Class of 2027. This was a great opportunity for 2027 prospects to be put on college recruiting boards. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. 2022 Future 50 - Class of 2027 - Quick Hits
THE BATS
- Edward Pena - Pena showed loose, athletic hands at the plate. Pena has a chance to be special at the plate.
- Criss Luna - Luna is a physical right handed hitter with pop in the bat.
- Ryan Huban - Huban is a physical presence from the right side. There’s power potential in his bat.
- James Furcinto - Furcinto showed some pop to the pull side.
THE ARMS
- Ben Samuels - Samuels was impressive. The young right hander has a quick arm and showed a tight breaking ball.
- Andrew Scarlett - Scarlett is a talented left hander. The fastball has late sink and he showed feel for his secondary stuff.
- Will Haggerty - Haggerty is a fluid right hander. The arm swing is loose and the ball jumps out of his hand.
- Jack Daggett - Daggett is a projectable left hander. The arm swing is long and loose, producing a fastball with sink. The secondary stuff is good.
THE DEFENDERS
- Ryan Heerman - Heerman is a talented young prospect that showed athleticism at multiple positions.
- Edward Pena - Pena is an athletic, versatile infielder. The actions are fluid and the arm plays all over the diamond.
- Nolan Sullivan - Sullivan is a strong armed corner infielder with good actions.
THE RUNNERS
- Jude Monti - Monti is an athletic outfielder that showed off his footspeed.
- Ben Samuels - Samuels was impressive at this event. He’s an athletic young prospect.
- William Haggerty - Haggerty is an athletic, versatile prospect with good footspeed.
