With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2018 Spring Team Preview: Bryan Golden Bears

Team Name: Bryan Golden Bears
Head Coach: Jeff Inselmann
Division: II
2017 Record: 15-12
Conference Record: 6-1
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 6/2

Team Strengths:

Coach Outlook: “After a disappointing 15-12 season, the 2018 Bryan HS baseball team will be an inexperienced team led by a hungry group of seniors surrounded by some talented juniors and sophomores. Many positions are up for grabs and we have a number of guys competing to crack the starting lineup. Although an unproven team, the goals remain the same in competing for the NWOAL title and advancing as far into the state tournament as possible.”

PBR Outlook: Coach Jeff Inselmann and the Golden Bears look to get back on track after a down 2017 (in Bryan HS standards). Look for Coach I to get Bryan back on track and competing at a high level. Come tournament time, look for the Golden Bears to be playing their best ball.
