COLLEGE STATION, TX - College Station hosted cross-town rival A&M Consolidated in a 19-5A district matchup.

A pitcher’s duel broke out between College Station 2019 LHP Austin Teel (No. 76 in 2019 PBR Texas rankings, committed to Wake Forest) and A&M Consolidated 2021 RHP Jack Hamilton (No. 7 in 2021 PBR Texas rankings and No. 48 in 2021 PBR overall rankings, committed to Texas A&M). Both starters went six innings each allowing one run. Teel allowed his 1 run on 3 hits with 2 walks and 11 strikeouts. Hamilton allowed his one run on one hit with two walks and nine strikeouts. A&M Consolidated 2019 RHP Daniel Pugh got the save with a 1-2-3 7th inning.

A&M Consolidated was led offensively by 2020 OF Colson Sledge who had two hits and scored a run and 2019 C David Pugh and 2022 2B Carson Kerbel who both had RBIs.

College Station’s lone run came in the 4th as 2019 3B Brandon Williams scored on an error by A&M Consolidated after getting on base with a single.
