The Henderson State commit continues his scoreless streak on the mound to 13 ip. Went 6 IP 1 h and 7 K against Carrollton Creekview.

+ Jorge Aldrete, Little Elm HS, 2020
4-7 (.571) with 2 2B 3 rbi 2 runs and 1 ip 0 R in closing the game on friday.

+ Grayson Smith, RHP, Georgetown HS, 2018
Blinn JC commit. 7 IP, 0 R, 2 H, 3 K. Had a no hitter through 5 gave up a hit in the 6th and then picked him off!  Gave up on hit in the 7th so he only faced 1 over the minimum. Only threw 61 pitches he absolutely dominated the strike zone only threw 15 balls against a really talented Rouse team.

6.1 Innings Pitched, 3 Hits, 12 Strikeouts, 2 Walks on Friday April 6th against Gainesville in a 4-2 win. Had a no hitter going until the 5th then gave up two more in his last inning of work. On Tuesday April 3rd, Tristan was 1-2 at the plate and scored our only run in a 2-1 loss to Argyle. Tristan has a record of 4-1 on the year, Has 32 Strikeouts to 18 walks. ERA: 2.31 and his opponents batting average against him is .263. His batting average on the year is .283

Texas Tech commit. Went 4-4 in 2 games this week against Bryan High School and University High School. Total of 4 RBI's. 2 singles, 1 double, and a 3 run homer that opened up the game against Bryan, drew 4 walks. Pitched 6 innings against Bryan giving up no earned runs and recording 6 strikeouts.

+ Trent Padron, LHP, Gorman HS, 2018
- Gorman v. Winters 4-6-18, Despite taking his 1st loss of the season, Trent pitched one of his better games this season.  Winters would score 3 unearned runs on 4 Gorman errors in the 3rd inning during the game last Friday. The Panthers were able to only score 1 run on a SF in the 5th inning and had runners on 2nd and 3rd with 0 outs in the 2nd and 4th innings but failed to score a run in either innings. Trent pitched a complete game, allowed 0 ER, gave up 3 hits, walked 2 and struck out 15. Season totals for Trent: 4-1, 0.85 ERA, 34 IP, 4 ER, 18 H, 75 K, 16 BB

+ Derick Ramirez, Raymondsville HS
.556 AVG 1 2B, 3 RBI, 3 RUNS, 3 SB. 5.1 Innings Pitched 1-0,  1 Save, 4 Hits, 2 Runs, 0 Earned Runs, 6 K's and 0 BB. In a game where his twin brother started. Derick pitched the final 3.1 innings. He started with a  pick off of what could have been the winning run at 2B and then struck out 3 in a row to get the team out of a jam with a Tie ball game. Derick was instrumental in the top of the 8th in helping the team rally for 5 runs and the win vs Port Isabel.  With the game on the line in the 6th inning worked a 2 inning save for a 4-3 win against Rio Hondo against the top of their batting order. These were massive wins for the team as they propelled us to a 5-4 record and a 4 way tie for 2nd place.
