CYPRESS, TX- Throughout the fall, PBR's staff will be on the road covering baseball across Texas. Games, workouts, practices, camps and more.  The "boots on the ground" philosophy of PBR is well represented with the coverage throughout the Fall of 2017. With the recruiting landscape moving faster than in years past, there were several 2020 grads that stood out at Hunter Pence Baseball's Scout Day, including recent Arkansas commit, Hunter Cramer.

HUNTER CRAMER

SS / RHP / OAK RIDGE, TX / 2020

Cramer has a projectable, athletic, fast-twitch frame at 6-foot-1, 165-pounds. The recent Arkansas recruit, is a confident, aggressive player with good presence and moxy. During the game, he made a great play on a hard shot up the middle. After breaking to his left, the ball ricocheted off the pitcher's glove. Cramer change direction, snagged the ball by diving to his back-hand side, then gunned the ball over the first base. A right-handed hitter, Cramer has an aggressive approach, and produces solid bat speed with rhythm and strength at contact. He starts from a crouched stance, big load back, aggressive leg-kick as triggers his hands down and back, quick hips into a powerful weight transfer. Quick hands through the zone, hard contact during batting practice, loose-high finish creates lift and carry.
