HOUSTON, TX - The opening weekend of the high school season has come to a close. Over the weekend, we’ve showcases plenty of players but there were a handful of other players we saw that showcased their many talents, including these four seniors who are all ranked in the 2019 PBR Texas rankings.
Austin Wallace, LHP/OF, Flower Mound, 2019
Texas commit. 6-foot-4, 205-pound athletic, projectable frame. The left-hander pitched strictly from the stretch. His fastball was 87-89 mph early on and 85-87 mph as he finished his outing. Had a couple walks early but regained command as the outing went on. Threw a curveball with 1-7 shape at 72-73 mph. Was able to land his curveball in the zone for strikes and bury it in the dirt for swing and misses. At the plate, the left-handed hitter has a short, quick swing and a slight leg kick. Flashed power to the pull side. Ranked No. 73 in 2019 PBR Texas rankings.

Daunte Stuart, 2B, The Woodlands, 2019
