6-foot-4, 205-pound athletic, projectable frame. The left-hander pitched strictly from the stretch. His fastball was 87-89 mph early on and 85-87 mph as he finished his outing. Threw a curveball with 1-7 shape at 72-73 mph. Was able to land his curveball in the zone for strikes and bury it in the dirt for swing and misses. At the plate, the left-handed hitter has a short, quick swing and a slight leg kick. Flashed power to the pull side.

02.14.18 Wallace has logged as many varsity innings as any junior in the state. The left-hander was stellar yesterday, with plus command of three pitches and a very surgical four inning outing. Working from a ¾ slot, Wallace located his fastball to both sides of the plate at 84-86 mph. The pitch has tailing action to his arm side, but he can also get it in to right-handed hitters. Curveball has 2/8 shape at 71-72 mph with sharp break. His changeup has good arm side fade at 72-74 mph. In his third and fourth innings of work, Wallace really started to carve up hitters, pitching backwards, throwing his curveball and changeup early in counts, then finishing them off with a hard inside fastball.

06.26.17 - Texas recruit. 6-foot-4, 215-pound, strong, projectable frame. The left-hander works from a ¾ slot with a medium arm stroke. His fastball was 84-85 mph, while his slider was 72 mph.

09.09.16 -
6-foot-3, 200-pound, strong build. Offensively had a good set-up and gets ready to hit with small leg kick and good hand load. In three at-bats he hammered a ball to third base and was a 4.52 down the line; drew a walk, and hit a groundball to shortstop with a 4.69 home-to-first.

6-foot-3, 205-pound, strong frame. The Sophomore works from a ¾ slot with a solid delivery, good tempo and advanced feel for 3 pitches. The fastball was 83-86 mph with arm-side run. His slider is a plus pitch at 68-71 mph, with 2-8 shape, he throws it with great feel on both sides of the plate. He throws his changeup with the same arm speed as his fastball from 69-73 mph with some arm-side fade. We only got to see Wallace have one at-bat, but the left-handed hitter was strong at contact, lining out to third base.
