Scouting Report

Chandler Jozwiak, LHP, Brenham HS, 2017
The San Jacinto JC recruit led Brenham High School to a 1-0 win in a one-game playoff with Whitehouse HS. Jozwiak posted a shutout performance, allowing only five hits, one walk, and six strikeouts in a seven inning complete game. His fastball was 86-88 mph most of the night, bumping 89 mph once. The left-hander has a swing-and-miss slider, with 2-8 shape at 77-79 mph. In a game that would be determined by one pitch, Jozwiak dialed up one of his best performances of the year, sending Brenham to the third round of the Texas High School Playoffs. A right-handed hitter, Jozwiak also went 2-for-4 at the plate.

Congratulations Chandler!
