TX Top 10 Viewed Profiles: January 2022

Theo Gillen SS / RHP / Westlake , TX / 2024

This comes as no surprise as the #1 ranked 2024 in TX and #2 player in the nation has one of the best swings in the class.

Luke Billings OF / RHP / Prosper , TX / 2025

Last saw Billings in showcase setting at the Fort Worth Preseason ID where he impressed all around but stood out on the mound. He then hopped on the mound for Prosper in a preseason scrimmage and did not disappoint (video in profile).

Blake Mitchell C / RHP / Sinton, TX / 2023

The #1 2022 in TX and #4 player in the country can do it all on the diamond. Arguably the most complete player in the nation. Whether he is behind the dish, at SS, on the mound, or in the box, he is impacting the game.

Jack Frankel RHP / 1B / John Paul II, TX / 2024

The most polished arm in the 2024 class. Low 90's fastball with good feel for a 4-pitch mix. We are looking forward to seeing more of Frankel this Spring, starting tomorrow, 2/11 against Lubbock Trinity

Jordan Yearby OF / 2B / Plano East, TX / 2024

We most recently saw Yearby at the Fort Worth Preseason ID. He ran the 2nd fastest 60 time (7.12) on a cold morning and was 3rd in OF velo (80). Video in profile.

Conner Weigman SS / OF / Bridgeland, TX / 2022

Weigman will not be on the diamond for his senior season as he has already enrolled at Texas A&M to get his football career started. He is a special talent and we hope to be able to see him play at Blue Bell Park.

Alex Reyna 2B / RHP / Vista Ridge, TX / 2025

Reyna was a fresh face at the Austin Preseason ID. He showed smooth actions in the infield and a swing that could produce some pop with added size and strength.

Cade Arrambide C / Tomball, TX / 2024

The Florida commit and #1 Catcher in the 2024 TX class will be fun to watch this spring. He has a presence behind the plate and in the box that makes you not want to miss a pitch.

Chris Lopez SS / 3B / William H. Taft, TX / 2024

Lopez came out of the gate hot at the San Antonio Preseason ID running the fastest 60 time of the day (6.64). Good athlete out of the San Antonio area.

Travis Sykora RHP / SS / Round Rock, TX / 2023

Sykora will be a must see this Spring. The last we saw of him in the Spring, he hit 97mph multiple times while closing out a playoff game for Round Rock (Video in profile).
