Texas JUCO Ranking: Week 6

This week there is movement in the top 5, movement in the top 10, as well as a team making its way back into the top 25.

Top 5 Movement

Weatherford #5→#3

As mentioned in the Week 6 Recap, Weatherford had a huge week with wins over UR Western Texas and Region 5 power New Mexico JC.  Their two biggest contributors were Week 6 Hitter of the week SO INF Hunter Gieser (uncommitted) and FR 2B Cole Johnson. Who combined to go 12-25, with 2 doubles, 7 runs batted in, 9 runs and 10 stolen bases.

Top 10 Movement

Odessa #8→#6

Odessa had a big week splitting their series with Cisco. One of the big keys to their success was the play of SO 1B Harry Fullerton (New Mexico) who hit .462, with a triple, home run, and 5 runs batted in.

Back In

Temple UR→ #24

Temple makes their way back into the Top 25 for the first time since Week 2. After a big week against Blinn where they outscored them 17-9. Leading the offensive charge was FR OF Reid Dalrymple who was 4-7 with a double, 2 runs batted in, 3 runs scored,  and a stolen base.
