10.28.17 6-foot, 170-pounds with a long, projectable, lean-muscular frame. Dalrymple has some of the best overall tools of any uncommitted outfielder in the state of Texas with his long strides (60-yard dash time of 6.99), bat speed (93 mph) and arm strength (90). The left handed hitter creates natural lift with strength at contact on an uphill path. Drove the ball to pull side during batting practice and showed good barrel awareness and projectable power. He starts with his hands in a low-hanging position, then pushes back with a simple load as he maintains a crouched spine angle. Good extension through contact with a loose finish. In the outfield, Dalrymple has aggressive footwork with good rhythm through ball, clean exchange and a long, loose arm stroke that produced accurate throws at 90 mph. A two-way player and left-handed pitcher, Dalrymple works from an over the top slot with a long arm swing in the back. Gets down the mound with a long stride, drop and drive delivery, athletic finish with max effort and some deception. Fastball got on top of hitters quick at 80-82 mph and flashed cut into right-handed hitters. Curveball has more cutter type 2/8 shape at 70-71 mph.

10.07.17 - Dalrymple has a long-limbed frame at 6-foot, 185-pounds with plenty of room to add strength a he continues to develop. Started the day by running a 6.99-second 60-yard dash. The left-handed hitter starts from a wide base with a slightly open stance. Turns his front shoulder in as he loads into a more crouched stance with a short stride, early rhythm and good balance. Strong hitter with an aggressive mentality during batting practice, short path to get extended out front. Natural lift with a slightly uphill path gets the barrel on plane and creates hard, loud contact from the middle-to-pull side, ball jumps off his bat with a 93 mph exit velocity. Defensively, Dalrymple plays through the ball with quick feet and athleticism into his crow-hop, clean quick exchanges allow his arm to work fast from a long, over the top slot, getting good extension out front and creating excellent carry at 90 mph with an athletic finish.

06.06.17 - 6-foot, 185-pound frame. The left-hander works from an over-the-top slot with a long arm stroke. Drop and drive delivery, smooth rhythm early, quick rhythm late, lands square with an athletic finish. Fastball ranged from 78-83 mph flashing good command at times. His changeup came in at 73 mph with fastball arm speed and slight fade to his arm side. A two way player and left-handed hitter, Dalrymple starts from an open stance and rotates to a closed, crouched stance to load. Short stride into an aggressive uncoiling of his hips, rotating to contact with strong contact to the pull side and an exit velocity of 88 mph off the tee. Dalrymple has an athletic stride and moves with fluid rhythm on the balls of his feet to play through the ball. Soft hands and quick exchange into his crow hop to throw with accuracy, carry, and life at 85 mph.
