Jake Ivey LHP / Dynamic Prep, TX / 2027

Best combination of stuff and pitchability of any arm this fall. Did not disappoint in three outings. FB 94-96. CB 80-81 with action. Cutter 86-90 with varying action, hard slider attributes at times. CH 85-87 with tail/sink.

Four-pitch mix. Throws strikes, attacks the zone and works fast. Team USA member who pitched at the Future Games in 2025. Continues to get better.

Cullen Scott 3B / Melissa, TX / 2027

Top two-way prospect. Young 17-year-old at the draft. Great build/frame to add strength. I have position player over pitcher right now. 

RHP: Arm strength present. Multiple 99s this fall, with some guns showing 100. FB works 95-98. FB plays with below effectiveness despite the velocity. Gets hit. BA command. Shows arm-side life. Pitchability/command with the FB must develop for velocity. Throws SL and cutter and has shown a CB in the past. Looking for him to master one for the spring and dominate on the mound.

Bat/power combo projects to be an offensive corner infielder. When I first saw him as a freshman, he reminded me of Dean Palmer. Had a great spring in 2026 with the bat. I am in on the future bat/power.

Everyone will have to scout him as both a hitter and pitcher and make a decision on which one they like more. Will be with Team New Zealand later this fall. Future Games participant in 2026.

Garet Hackenbruch RHP / Atascocita, TX / 2027

Prep Baseball Senior Games participant who continues to improve. Worked 92-96 in two outings. Velo has made a jump this summer. Effective FB up/down in the zone with carry present. Two distinct breaking balls in the slider and CB. Shows spin to both. Pitched off the FB. Two impressive outings.

Casen Reedy RHP / Monsignor Kelly Catholic, TX / 2027

Two looks this fall. Struggled with command in the first outing; second outing was improved. Worked 93-95, up to 96 with the FB, showing carry up and arm-side run. SL 82-85 with varying action. Flashed plus action/finish in the first outing; fringe-average slider overall. Change is a developing pitch. Looking for command to firm.

Jackson Fetters RHP / The Bennett School, TX / 2027

FB 87-89 (90). Life to both sides of the plate, with tail/sink increasing to the arm side. Average slider with feel for the pitch. Swing/miss in the zone and chase off the plate. Confidence to throw the slider at any time. Change shows fade action. Prep Baseball Future Game participant. 

Shows pitchability and is not afraid of contact. Looking for a velo spike.

Matthew Hernandez RHP / Paschal, TX / 2027

Short one-inning look. Young RHS. Physical build/frame to add strength. Strike thrower. FB 93-94. Feel for slider at 81-82. Repeats delivery and arm action. Looking for a velo spike in the spring. Late bloomer who saw his stuff pick up this past year. Hoping for more in 2027.

Hank Rippy SS / Anderson Austin, TX / 2027

Rippy can swing the bat. Great build/frame to add strength. Infielder with actions; send out as SS with probable to move third base. Hit approach present with the ability and willingness to use all fields and the ability to impact the baseball.

Impressive with quality ABs, showing hit ability. Couple of multi-hit games with hard contact. Tools with projection.

Bryson Bourn OF / The Woodlands, TX / 2027

Athletic. Projects physically to add strength. 80 runner. Quickness/speed plays on the bases and in the OF. Young for the class. Look for the ability to impact the baseball to develop.

Definite player to see in the spring. Could make a big jump between now and February. Dad is a former ML player. Reminds me of Homer Bush Jr. in HS.

Roman Derichsweiler C / Dallas Jesuit, TX / 2027

Roman Derichsweiler | C | Jesuit Prep | Arizona Commit

LHH/C developing behind the plate. Shows raw arm strength with throws to second. Solid hit approach. Got hits to all fields and can leave to the pull side. Player to see in the spring.

Jesuit Prep players historically are difficult signs. If this is the case for Derichsweiler, he ends up at the University of Arizona.

Jackson Wooten SS / Atascocita, TX / 2027

Athletic with speed/quickness. 6.37 60 this past weekend at the Prep Baseball/HP Scout Day. 4.1 down the line. Hit approach present, showing pitch and location recognition. Handles the bat. Hit over power.

DNP defensively due to injury. At past events, has shown first-step foot quickness with actions. Stays in the middle defensively.

Mason Fritz SS / Frenship, TX / 2027

Great build/frame to add strength. Defensively makes plays, with actions present and average raw arm strength. Solid swing/approach using the middle of the field. Shows raw power to the pull side. 4.36 runner from the left side. One to watch develop.
