West Coast Games: 5 Uncommitted 2022 Pitchers to Watch

Zach Day / David Shapero

We’ve put together a short list featuring five 2022 uncommitted pitchers to follow closely at PBR’s West Coast Games, a three-day event that begins Friday, Aug. 13, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The below chart contains fastball data for all five hurlers, including their XHop+ score (100 XHop+ is MLB average). Click here to read more about Hop score and how it correlates to whiffs.

Keep in mind that the data was collected via portable systems and therefore may not be totally reflective of a game setting.

*Max FB Velo and Spin

Owen Dueck - 98 xHop+

Dueck shows the ability to spin a fastball well above average.

Aidan Boice - 96 xHop+

Keep an eye on Boice's velocity and spin -- a spike could result in a major xHop if his arm slot settles in at three-quarters to low-three-quarters.

The talent is high at the event. Let’s see who jumps out at this event and continues to rise to the next level!
