HIGH SCHOOL DRAFT 100 PROSPECTS
Jamari Baylor, SS, Benedictine College Prep, VA (Louisburg JC)
OTHERS TO WATCH: SS Jose Torres (Calvert Hall College HS, MD) has a projectable frame with high-end athleticism, the ability to stay short and offensive upside thanks to his bat speed and power potential. OF Marcus Lee Sang (Northern HS, MD) has an explosive left-handed swing to go with speed and arm strength. RHP Matthew Wyatt (Loyola Blakefield HS, MD) is lanky and projectable with a 90-94 mph fastball from a low slot.
In Virginia, LHP Christian Gordon (Liberty Christian Academy, VA) is the most polished arm, sitting 88-92 and showing advanced feel for an 80-82 breaking ball and 76-78 changeup. RHP Casey Green (Benedictine College Prep, VA) is a projectable arm with an 88-91 fastball, touching 92. RHP Nick Lockhart (Woodgrove HS, VA) may have the highest ceiling as he sits 90-92 with plenty more to come. RHP Geo Rivera (Lafayette HS, VA) has been up to 94 in the past. OF Paul Moore (Stone Bridge HS, VA) has big-time power. RHP Jacob Watters (Bland County HS, VA) is very raw, but throws an easy 92. RHP Zach Agnos (Battlefield HS, VA) is on a similar development path as his older brother, Jake, and currently sits 90-92.
