Eastern Wisconsin Open: Infielder Analysis
October 3, 2019
We previously covered this event through our rapid analysis inside our Quick Hits post, as well as a more data-driven dive, with our Statistical Analysis.
Today, however, is reserved for the day’s infielders, after we covered the event’s backstops and outfielders earlier in the week.
There were a couple of powerful bats in this group and Random Lake’s Blake Hall was among them. We had not yet seen Hall in person and his round of batting practice stole the show. He swings a twitchy left-handed bat with some pop and peppered the right-center gap with his present doubles power. Port Washington’s big right-handed-hitting Jacob Modjeski led the event from the exit velocity station and used that bat strength in on-field BP, too, establishing himself as a next-level power bat made even more threatening by his barrel awareness.
For reports on each of the 34 infielders inside this group, find all of their scouting reports listed below.
