17 prospects ran a sub-7.00 60 yard dash, highlighted by John Nett's (Kimberly, WI) 6.69. Coming within ear shot of Nett was Garret Cook (Plainfield North, IL) at 6.74 and Kyle Ristow (Wisconsin Lutheran, IL) at 6.79.
19 pitchers saw their fastball hit 85+ mph, six from the left-side and a staggering 13 from the right-side. Recent Western Illlinois commit Johnny Beck (Rochelle Township, IL) took top honors with his 89 mph effort. Just off the pace at 88 mph was Ben Harris (Prairie Ridge, IL) and Bailey Banaszynski (Brookfield East, WI).
With a strong, compact frame, Max Bruff (Indian Trail, WI) was able to generate a 99 mph exit velocity off a tee, while Nick Brazelton (Oconomowoc, WI) leveraged his lanky, physical frame to produce a similar 99 mph exit velocity. Connor Handel (Monona Grove, WI) came close to challenging Bruff and Brazelton at 97 mph.
In a tight leaderboard, Miller Wallace (Oconomowoc, WI) and Riley Garczynski (Marquette University, WI) share top honors. Both produced efforts of 87 mph across the infield. Carlos Martinez (Grant, IL) follows them up at 86, while Logan Mantz (Slinger, WI) and Brendon Herrin (Andrew, IL) keep things tight with 85 mph throws.
Tanner Hurley (Kenosha Bradford, WI) just edged out Marcus Cline (Fall Creek, WI) for sole possession of first in outfield velocity. Hurley made a serious statement at the event having one of the best all around days, and his 87 mph from the outfield earns top honors here. Cline fell just short at 86 mph.
Ben Harris (Prairie Ridge, IL) and Kameron Laskowski (Sussex Hamilton, WI) were able to produce sub-2.00 pop times, both coming in at 1.97 seconds. Harris' had an amamzingly narrow margin between his pop times, keeping them between 1.97 and 2.01 seconds. The remainder of the leaderboard is packed with consistent performers as Max Bruff (Indian Trail, WI), Ethan Toone (Brookfield East, WI), Hunter Olson (Oconomowoc, WI), Evan Henry (Wilmot, WI), and Connor Handel (Monona Grove, WI) all put up bets times of 2.04.
Sam Rogers (New Lisbon, WI), Ethan Toone (Brookfield East, WI) and Connor Handel (Monona Grove, WI) all showed off big arms behind the plate. Rogers posted an event best 82 mph, while Toone and Handel follow with 81 and 80 mph, respectively. Rounding out the leaderboard is Jack Jonota (Stevenson, IL) at 78.
