8/7/18 - 6-foot-3, 170-pound, athletically-built, two-way prospect with plenty of room for continued physical development. At the plate, right-handed hitter, balanced setup, pre-pitch load, leg-kick timing trigger and maintains balance. Fluid rhythm, loose hands, creates bat speed at times, gap-to-gap approach and registered an 84 mph exit velocity from a tee. Singled and scored a run in game play. 7.22 runner in the 60, laser-timed. Defensively, quick feet, athletic out of the crouch, stays on-line. Short, quick arm action, throws have life, clocked at 76 mph from the crouch. Pop times ranged between 1.97-2.15. On the mound, right-handed pitcher, compact, repeatable delivery, works on-line and lands slightly closed. Short, loose, quick arm action from a high ¾ slot. Fastball, arm-side-run, sat 85-87 mph. Slider, flashed sharp action, 11/5 plane, 72-73 mph. Saw one changeup at 77 mph. Should be a high-follow unsigned senior moving forward.

7.24.18 - 6-foot-2, 170-pound two-way player, lean athletic frame. Plus arm strength defender behind the plate, carries well and accurate, quick release with short arm action, 77 mph out of the crouch. Posted pop times at 1.97-2.01. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, smooth load, leg kick trigger, good balance through contact. Hands are quick and creates bat speed, short path, slight pull tendency. 84 mph exit velocity form the tee. 7.04 runner in the 60. Arm plays well on the mound, short loose and easy arm action, high ¾ slot. Fastball runs to arm side, 85-87 mph, touched 88 mph. Slider is firm and thrown aggressively, 11/5 shape, some depth, 75-76 mph.

5.16.18 - Currently ranked No. 97 in Illinois’ Class of 2019. 6-foot-2, 170-pound, right-handed hitting catcher, lean, strong frame, continuing to physically develop. Did not start as catcher, DH in the four-hole. Took pre-game as catcher, showed off an advanced catch and throw skill set. Over-the-top slot, short action, throws carry and are true. Actions are natural and athletic. Offensively, athletic hands, barrel path has natural uphill tendency. Gap-to-gap type hitter, consistent hard contact. Hit a double to the CF wall in first at-bat, and had a ball caught on the warning track later. Finished 1-for-3 with a run scored against Huntley. 

1.28.18 - 6-foot-2, 1709-pound two-way player, sloped shoulders, lean strength. Projects best behind the dish, advanced catch and throw prospect. Arm action is short and over the top, played accurate and carried well to target, 77 mph out of the crouch. Natural actions, hands are soft, quick clean release, pop times ranged 1.97-2.02. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, smooth loading action with leg lift trigger. Loose hands, creates whip, flashed hard contact on uphill path with bat speed. 86 mph exit velocity from the tee. 4.58 runner down the line. On the mound arm action is similar, regular effort on line with squared landing. Fastball is straight, 79-82 mph. Curveball has 10/4 shape, slider type sweeping action, 65-69 mph. Changeup fades to arm side, near fastball arm speed, 72-74 mph.
