On Feb. 19, PBR Wisconsin hosted the annual West Milwaukee Preseason ID at STiKS Academy in Waukesha, Wis. Nearly 80 players made it out to this event, providing us with updated looks and a new list of prospects to follow in an area of Wisconsin that regularly produces some of the state’s top talent.

We began our post-event process by rolling out the day’s individual scouting reports earlier in the week with the catching crop and followed it up yesterday with the infielders. Today, we’ll keep working our way around the diamond today by spending some time with the outfielders, found below.

TOP OUTFIELD PROSPECTS

1. Bradyn Horn, Muskego (WI), 2024
Positional Profile: OF/LHP
Body: 5-11, 160-pounds. Lean athletic with sloped shoulders.
Hit: RHH. Tall, open setup striding to square.  Direct attack from inside. Stays through the zone with direction. Hard repeated backspin line drives throughout. Projectible bat as the physical maturity comes along. One of the top overall rounds on the day.
Power: 94.4 max exit velocity, averaged 91.8 mph. 341’ max distance.
Arm: LH. OF - 84 mph. 3/4 slot with arm strength and feel for spin direction and carry.

Body: 6-2, 220-pounds. Highly athletic build, overall strength, powerful athlete.
Hit: LHH. Wide, tall setup with rhythm. Leg kick stride with a firm plant.  Flat barrel lay with rotational power. Very strong on the handle. Lifting to all fields, but favoring the pullside with bat speed and ball speed.

Hit: RHH. Stock wide setup with a controlled stride to balance. Hands spaced high away from the body.  Backside delivers the barrel with a direct attack to the ball. Plane covers high to low with consistent low flights through the gaps. Power potential.
