The West Virginia Top Prospect Games are less than two months away and the roster continues to fill with some of the state's top talent. Among the top position players that will participate is SS/2B Josh Petit (George Washington HS).

Petit is currently ranked No. 1 in the WV Class of 2017 and comes off a strong sophomore season for the Patriots. The left-handed hitter finished with a .321 average with 21 RBI and 17 runs scored. The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder also flashed some leather fielding at a .950 clip while assisting in 10 double plays.

The 2015 West Virginia Top Prospect Games will take place August 8-9 at the YMCA Kennedy Center Field in Huntington. As we draw closer to August we will continue to highlight top prospects scheduled to participate in the state's premier event of the summer.
