8.73
Infield Velocity
The athlete's maximum throwing velocity from an infield position in the given event year. Measured in miles per hour (MPH).
66.0
Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average
Slider
Hammer+
A hammer breaking ball drops vertically with velocity through the zone, or 12-to-6 movement. Hammer+ of 100 is MLB average.
Slider
Sweep+
A sweeping breaking ball moves horizontally with velocity through the zone. Sweep+ of 100 is MLB average.
The maximum speed, in the direction of home plate, that the wrist is traveling. Measured in meters per second (m/s)
Arm Slot
Angle of the forearm relative to the ground between maximum external rotation (MER) and ball release (BR). Which can be a powerful player comparison metric, delivered in degrees.
Knee Extension Velo
The angular velocity of the front knee straightening after foot plant, which provides indicators of velocity potential. Measured in degrees per second.
Deception
The amount of time that the ball is visible to the hitter, after the instant of front foot strike. Measures in milliseconds.
Hip-Shoulder Separation
The difference in angle of between the hips and shoulders, occurring close to the foot plant. Measured in degrees.
6-foot-1, 150-pound lanky slim frame. Solid on the mound, showing quick arm speed he used a short arm action and low ¾ side arm angle. Feel up-tempo type pitcher who shows high effort. Showed athletic balance point with downhill shoulders. Lands closed with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 70-74 mph with a max of 75 mph; had control arm side down in the zone and sinking action. (Max spin 2068; Avg 1933). His changeup (64-69) showed gradual fading action and some control. His slider (64-67) shows sweeping action and occasional control. (Max spin 2205; Avg 2042).

A young arm that has gained some strength since we last saw him, which translated to a bit more velocity on the mound. Showing a mid ¾ slot and he showed a very nice delivery. Although the velocity may not be there as of now, this is a ‘23 LHP that has a clue how to pitch and shows some potential. The fastball was up to 74 mph and he actually seemed to consistently “cut” the pitch. The fastball also had some nice downward action as well. The change up was a very nice pitch that he did a nice job of staying on top of. The pitch seemed to really fade away from RH hitters at 67-68 mph. The breaking ball was fairly firm with slider action at 60- 61 mph.

Slightly open from the left side with a toe tap approach to get timed up with the barrel. Showed an inside out approach consistently producing line drives with a flat bat path. Does a nice job of the pre set with the feet and gets the glove out in front of him when fielding ground balls. Natural instincts around the bag at 1B with nice footwork. On the mound, the LHP shows easy, clean mechanics and the ball seemed to have natural sink to it, to go along with nice ASR. The breaking ball showed some tight spin and can be a weapon vs. LH hitters.

Nice skill set on this young player. Starts with a nice square set up at the plate and does a nice job getting his weight back to the launch position. Hands worked inside the ball and he showed an oppo approach from a level swing path. Long, wiry frame with room to grow that does a nice job of sinking his hips on ground balls. Quick transfer starting the 3-6-3 DP from the bag at 1B. On the mound, he showed a loose arm action with typical LHP movement. The breaking ball showed some nice depth and the arm speed was good on the change up.
