Showed the ability to create solid backspin through good torque of his midsection. As he continues to develop, we feel he will become an advanced hitter. Defensively, Shears showed a confident glove hand and solid footwork. His arm will continue to get stronger as he matures. A 2.27 - 2.35 pop time was recorded.
