Ashton Chronister: LHP/1B, (2023) Rogers, AR. 6-foot-8, 190-pound lean projectable frame. Projectable on the mound, showed good arm speed, also used a arm angle with a long arm action. Feel type pitcher and shows easy effort. Has a consistent balance point with even shoulders. Lands square with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 72-77 mph; has control in the zone and slight action with straight movement. Had glove side control and hard action on his tight slider (67-71).

Pitching: Projectable. Feel delivery, easy effort. arm angle, good arm speed, long arm action. Consistent balance point, even shoulders, lands square, a falling off finish.

FB: T77. 72-77 mph. (Max spin 2152;  Avg 1988). In the zone accuracy, slight action, straight movement.

Ashton Chronister: LHP/1B, (2023) Rogers, AR. 6-foot-7, 190-pound lanky frame. Projectable at the plate, Chronister recorded an exit velocity of 85 mph. Starts in an open tall stance with a slow controlled load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed was average, showed an uphill long swing plane and high finish. He barreled up some balls with some loud contact. Fly ball approach. Smooth while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 73 mph; shows a fluid exchange, consistent rhythmic feet, and sure hands. Fielded the ball deep with average movement laterally. Showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a long arm action and a high slot. Projectable on the mound, showed good arm speed, he had a high arm angle with a long arm action. Up-tempo type pitcher and uses easy effort. Hit: (RHH) Began in an open tall stance with a slow controlled load, then used a short stride. Average bat speed. High finish, uphill long swing. Fly ball approach. 

Power: 85 mph exit velocity. 

Defense:  (IF) Sure hands, consistent rhythmic footwork, fluid exchange. Smooth.  Laterally, movements were average and fielded the ball deep. 

Arm: 73 mph infield velocity. Long arm action, high slot, consistent accuracy.

In the infield, showed an ability to throw across the field at 63 mph; had soft hands. Showed a high slot and a short arm action. He clocked a 60 time of 8.85 at the event.
